Series of 21 videograms and drawings in a slideshow
To make this installation, Élise Leclercq met with residents of the Marolles neighborhood and asked them to propose to her a redevelopment project for the Ursulines square, echoing the video “Position”, which was made with Juanita Menendez.
This work took the form of a vox populi containing twenty-one propositions. Twenty-one drawings were then created around these “(Pro)positions.” The connection between the filmed vox populi and the drawings in the installation allow to be revealed the immense discrepancy between the idea of departure and its visual and graphic interpretation.
