This installation was created in response to a city-planners’ competition concerning the redevelopment of a square into a skate park, in the Marolles neighborhood of Brussels.
Presented by Recyclart at the center of the exposition of selected city-planners’ projects, the installation wished to question the little consideration that the planners gave to the diverse viewpoints and stories being expressed around the selfsame place.
In the exhibition, a panel divided the space in two, broadcasting the video projection “Position” on one side, and “(Pro)positions” on the other. This first work initiated the film “Hors lieu” also made in the Marolles neighborhood and produced by Recyclart.
